Roboto Monthly Meeting - Minutes for the 11/14/02 Meeting

Finances (Q)
- Balance: $4600.00
- A few items are going to be purchased in order to upgrade the space's sound system. The cost will be approximately $700.
- The Big Idea et al. have asked if we would like to continue sharing the Roboto phone line and add a voice mail system. The initial fee will be $25 and it will cost $9.50 a month. The Big Idea has volunteered to pay for the voice mail.
- The ideas for Roboto merch have included an interest in mugs (which we've decided to order), waterbottles and tshirts.

PR/Secretary (Jeremy Hedges)
- The member list has been placed on the Roboto office computer. Updates should be made to this list when renewals or new memberships are paid.
- Renewals please.
- An intern at WQED has contacted us about possibly doing a segment on the space for the program On Q.
- Nominations have been made for the facilities board position. Jen Briselli, Brent McEwen, and Darren Gruetze have all been nominated. The elections will begin on Dec. 3rd at the next monthly meeting.
- There has been interest in reanimating Roboto Speaks, the monthly newsletter about Roboto.

Facilities (Eric and Dave)
- A schedule has been made for the renovation in December:
Dec. 22-23 = tearning up carpet/floor
Dec. 27-31, Jan ? = major work repairing supports/putting down floor, carpetting.

Booking (Jeremy Carson)

Open Forum
- Promoters packets have fallen to the wayside - we will be printing out copies to be made available at shows and given to current/new promoters.
- We will be contacting Jeremy Boyle about repairing the light fixtures.
- Next meeting will be on Dec. 3rd.
