Roboto Monthly Meeting - Minutes for the 12/03/02 Meeting

Finances (Q)
- Balance: $3600
- The Mr. Roboto Project mugs have arrived. They are for sale at a cost of $3 per mug. Drink up!
- December is the biggest month for the expiration of memberships. Anyone with renewals coming up should contact us. Renewals are $10 per year.

PR/Secretary (Jeremy Hedges)
- Elections for the facilities board position begin on Dec. 3rd and will take place at Roboto events and via email until midnight on Dec. 10th. The candidates gave presentations at the meeting, and descriptions will be included in an email sent to the update list.
- Renewals. Please. Renew.

Facilities (Eric and Dave)
- The front door has been fixed so that it actually shuts. Hooray.
- Renovations, once again, will be taking place over the holidays. Beginning Dec. 22nd, the carpet will be removed, the floor pulled up, and both will then be replaced, in reversed order. Hooray.

Booking (Jeremy Carson)
- Nothing.

(4) Open Forum
- The official Mr. Roboto office computer in the space next door is still broken. Repair pending.
- Pictures were passed around showing the Roboto/Big Idea/Free Ride/etc contribution to the Wilkinsburg Holiday Parade.
- The suggestion of improving upon the window decorations came up. If anyone is interested in doing so, let us know. Robots a plus.
- Recently IWW meetings have been taking place at the space on Sunday afternoons. The question arose as to whether this was a problem considering the non-orientation towards particular politics. Nobody expressed a problem with the meetings taking place at Roboto if it didn't conflict with any other Roboto functions and a key-holding member was able to open and close the front door.
